My drawing shows an eagle, which is supposed to be a symbol of freedom ripping up an American flag. With this drawing i wanted to highlight that instead of America being the land of the free, it is far from it. There are so many issues today that have to deal with separation and people who believe they are above other just because of their race, but "supposedly" America is supposed to be a big melting pot of cultures where everybody is able to embrace the race and cultures of others. Unfortunately, in today's world, its sad to see that people choose to be so divided and unaccepting, especially when it comes to being racist against other cultures. Hopefully one day we can all come together and be that "American" symbol of freedom and acceptance.
