my panel 61 represents women's voting rights and it is displayed in a mix of now and in the past. women used to not be allowed to vote, because men back then thought they were just there to help out in the farms and they were not recognized as actual people. as for their dark skin tone, black women were treated even more harshly than any black person or even a white woman
