My piece is about African Americans going North. It is titled "The Power of Migration." It depicts birds migrating North. The migration of African Americans eventually led to them being treated more like human beings. They still faced extreme adversity but this movement is why they are where they are today. They saw this migration as a great opportunity to become successful and powerful.
